  • Healing begins in the present moment, in the emotional currents that arise between us as we work together. When you sit with me, I'm not just listening to your story—I'm attuning to the feelings flowing through you right now, creating a safe harbor where your feelings can be fully seen and honored.

My approach is deeply informed by my training with Terry Real in Relational Life Therapy and Julianne Taylor Shore's work in Interpersonal Neurobiology. From Terry, I learned how to help clients move beyond shame and isolation toward authentic connection, balancing truth-telling with profound compassion. With Jules, I am developing a nuanced understanding of how our nervous systems communicate beneath conscious awareness, and how we can safely harness neuroplasticity to create lasting change.

In our sessions, we'll work experientially, staying present with what emerges in you. Rather than analyzing past patterns, we'll notice how they show up today and practice new ways of being. Insight is valuable, but it's an embodied experience that truly transforms.

My role is as a companion and witness to your journey. I bring a balance of warm humanity and professional expertise, creating space for both vulnerability and strength. Together, we'll navigate the territories of your relationships—with others and within yourself—bringing awareness, compassion, and possibility to places that may have felt stuck or painful for years.

  • Emotional Presence & Attunement

Working with me offers a rare space where your emotions are welcomed, understood, and validated without judgment. Many clients report that for the first time, they feel truly seen and heard at the level of their deepest feelings—not just their thoughts or behaviors. This attunement creates a foundation for all other healing.

    Freedom from Shame-Based Patterns

Through our work together, you'll learn to recognize and release shame-based internal narratives that have kept you disconnected from yourself and others. We can specifically target the harmful internal critic that maintains these patterns, helping you develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

    Nervous System Regulation

Drawing from a neurobiological framework, I'll help you understand your unique nervous system patterns and develop personalized tools for self-regulation. You'll learn to recognize your triggers, expand your window of tolerance, and respond rather than react in challenging situations.

    Authentic Self-Expression

Many clients discover they've been hiding parts of themselves—their talents, needs, desires, vulnerabilities, or strengths—for fear of rejection or conflict. Our work creates pathways toward expressing your full authentic self, which paradoxically leads to deeper and more fulfilling connections.

    Embodied Awareness

Rather than remaining trapped in cycles of overthinking, you'll develop a nuanced awareness of how emotions and relational patterns manifest in your body. This embodied understanding opens doorways to change that purely cognitive approaches cannot access.

    Practical Relational Skills

You'll gain concrete skills for difficult conversations, boundary-setting, emotional intimacy, and conflict resolution. These tools work even when emotions are running high—especially important for those who've found that logical approaches "go out the window" during emotional moments.

    Integration of Past & Present

While maintaining our focus on present experience, we'll compassionately explore how your past experiences have shaped your relational templates. This integration helps release old adaptive patterns that are no longer serving you without getting lost in endless analysis of the past.

    Sustainable Growth

The changes you make in therapy will be neurologically integrated through our attention to embodied experience, making them more sustainable than insights achieved through talk therapy alone. You'll develop the capacity to continue growing even after our formal work together ends.
